đ±Â At AtoANI, every field visit is more than just a routine check, itâs a reminder of our shared mission to protect heritage, empower farmers, and grow impact.
We recently had the privilege of visiting one of our dedicated farmer partners from the Bohol Ube Growers Association (BUGA) in Carmen, Bohol, a key area in our ongoing efforts to preserve and scale the production of the iconic heirloom ube kinampay and other ube varieties grown in Bohol.
This visit is part of our collective work under the Bohol Ube Project, in collaboration with the European Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines (ECCP), Eggzos Consulting, BUGA, and the Young Farmers Association Cooperative (YFAC). Together, we are building a farmer-first, sustainable value chain to bring ube kinampay and other ube varieties from the hills of Bohol to the shelves of Europe.

Behind Every Harvest Is a Story
đ The farmers of Carmen are stewards of this heirloom crop that holds deep cultural and economic significance. The ube kinampay, revered for its unique aroma and vibrant purple hue, is a crop rooted in tradition, and now, poised for global recognition.
đ As we walked the fields and listened to our partner farmers, we were reminded that behind every harvest is a deeper story:
A story of passion for heritage farming
A story of perseverance in the face of agricultural challenges
A story of partnership built on trust, knowledge, and shared goals
Their commitment fuels our resolve to make the Bohol Ube Project a successful model for community-based, climate-smart agriculture.
Call for Collaboration: Letâs Scale this Impact Together
As demand from European buyers grows for high-quality ube powder, we are actively working to strengthen the supply chain, from propagation to post-harvest processing, and export readiness.
To do this, we need collaborators and supporters who believe in the power of agriculture to transform lives and economies.
Weâre seeking partners from both the public and private sectors to support areas such as:
đż Sustainable production and capacity building
đ Processing and product development
đ Logistics and supply chain management
đ Research, traceability, and quality standards
đŒ Investment in agri-enterprise models
