A sustainable future requires a skilled workforce prepared for the challenges and opportunities of a greener economy. This is why AtoANI is honored to participate as part of the Technical Working Group (TWG) for the Agriculture and Fisheries Sector in the recent hybrid forum on the Presentation of the Initial Green Jobs Sectoral Skills Situation Report, organized by TESDA and Bayan Innovation Group (BIG).
Held at Tandang Sora Hall, TESDA Complex in Taguig City, the forum brought together government agencies, educators, industry leaders, and advocates working toward a shared mission: building a future-ready, environmentally conscious, and resilient Philippine workforce.

The Importance of Green Jobs in the Philippine Agriculture Sector
As the country faces intensifying climate risks, the Agriculture and Fisheries Sector sits at the front line of both vulnerability and opportunity. Green jobs in agriculture not only promote sustainability but also create pathways for decent work, innovation, and long-term food security.
The discussions emphasized the urgency of equipping farmers, youth, and professionals with skills and knowledge in:
Regenerative agriculture
Climate-smart production systems
Digital and data-driven agriculture
Sustainable natural resource management
Emerging green technologies and livelihood models
These competencies are essential in transforming agriculture, from a climate-sensitive sector to a climate solution.

AtoANI’s Role: Championing Regenerative and Data-Driven Agriculture
